After adding ridgelines and guy outs went to 8 ounces and a bit. Still so light.

ok, dropped the big bucks on the Cuben, waited patiently for the tree to tree "No Tangle" guy line. Now, how long do you recommend I make the lines? I have 100' of line.
Thank you so much for any advice. I want to be ready for the wind, rain or snow on my first outing with my new set-up. I'd hate to get out there and realize I've cut my lines short.

2, 12' off the ridge
4, 8' off the main tieouts
4, 6' off the doors
2, 10' off the panel pulls (i only use 1 on each side)
100' on the head

My HG 4S is 6.5oz without the stuff sack.
What you'll find is that when you go from a tarp with 4 or 6 attachment points to one with 14 it's simply a numbers thing; more lines, more stakes, more line locs/do-dads. Avoid the temptation to use a lot of shock cord, it's relatively heavy compared to your lighter lines and you don't really need much of it if any with cuben. The easiest place to save weight is in stakes since there are so many.
Currently my 4S Cuben weighs just under 14oz when I put it in my pack.
