Do you have to roll it up or can you stuff hit? The only cubens I've seen so far have all been stored rolled, didn't know if that was recommended when you purchased them??

I pull a side tie out taught, they are the WhoopieSlings.com tarp lines with prussics. Then I take the line thats left, Run it across to the opposite door tie out ring, go through the ring and secure back to itself using a Bloomgorge tarp key.

That's probably confusing. But works beautifully.

Another set of prussics on the excess line with a mini carabiner would be nice too.

It rolls and folds up alot nicer than it stuffs. It fits in my stuff sack much better this way and keeps the lines from tanglin to hell.

It's a bit blacker/silvery than say Shug's I do believe. But I can see thru it fine. It got lots of looks from the neighbors.

Sweet! It makes sense, except Im not sure I know what a tarp key is. I can see a custom order to Stu coming soon.

The "tarp key from" Bloomgorge. I love these things.

I'll be stuffing when I get my cuben, there's just something about that delaminating argument which makes me think stuffing is safer than folding, long term.

I really dont "fold it". I gently roll it up into a football size ball. Then slide it into a stuff sack. I have tried stuffing and it doesn't feel very safe on the bonded seams. That's the reason I roll it up, and then roll it from end to end. It's sooo much gentler on the bonding than stuffing.

Actaully I would highly discourage anyone from stuffing this tarp. Roll that thang up.

Yep, that's what I'm doin minus the skins. I had an older cuben tarp that I did like this for many trips with much success. Seems to pack smaller as well when coiled up.
Stuffing creates these dense wads that make the tarp resemble a turd in your pack.
