Are you doing an overnight or just a quick day trip?

I'm leaving later today and most likely returning Sunday. I thought for sure the shoes were just going to collect dust this year.

I plan on arriving early-mid afternoon (between 2 and3). Will probably be tied up heavy with work from now until then. Good thing I've been carting the gear around in the back of the jeep all winter so I'm basically already packed.

Looking forward to meeting whoever makes it. I'll shoot for campsite 6 if I'm the first to arrive.

Sounds good, that's about what I was thinking, too. How exactly do you get to the trails? Can you link me a map or something?

Stay away from sites 14-19 if you're thinking in terms of group camping. These sites are on top of the hill or just into the treeline near the steep, and hang sites are limited.

Have fun y'all! I won't join you in the hang, but will see about grabbing my kiddos and going for a walk in the woods, if there isn't anything else on the family calendar. Would love to see y'all, and Shug's new gear!

Geez I wish I had found this right when you posted it. I would have gotten the cabinets done early and gone with. Especially if it's Saturday. (Pine Wood derby Friday night) Oh well guess I will have to pay more attention to Minnesota posts so that I don't miss the next hang. Have fun guys.

More than likely out.....visiting a good friend who is home alone.
The Ranger will ask "how many tent sites" when you check in. Not saying to blab out that your in hammocks....but I never do. I just say we will have two large tents for all the folks. Not sure what the number of campers allowed per site. Be vague. But....use your own moral compass.

Not sure when the pup and I will get there. But, I'm sure we'll be doing our normal night hike on in.
