The 2nd Annual Louisiana Spring Hang is now history. Nineteen people attended. Most were forum members. The few that were not told me they soon would be. It was a great event. Friday night weather threatened the hang, but the storm soon passed, and in it's wake came cooler temps. Friday night Swampsloth treated us to a seafood court bullion, along with garlic bread and apple strawberry cobbler. On Saturday, several of us went on short hikes down the Wild Azalea Trail. We were happy to see we were on schedule to see the wild azaleas blooming. Saturday night Swampsloth filled our bellies again with a chicken and sausage gumbo. The remainder of the evening was a great time sharing stories by the campfire. I have to apologize for not having a video or more pictures of the event. I am already looking forward to our next event. Thank you to all who attended. I had a great time.
