Better yet, use it for a tube-sock-tent, and change the top end panel on the head end to regular untreated rip-stop for breathability. You don't have to trust it to be totally waterproof then, only for stopping blowing rain/wind draft. A good cold/damp weather option. I need to post some instructions on the tube-sock.
I'd trust it once as a tarp with a steep pitch, until it failed, which hopefully isn't in the middle of nowhere on day 2 of a 4 day rain. A good option for backyard or car camping/hanging, though.
