Welcome to the forums; from Ohio. I don't know how old your daughter is, but regardless putting your wife and daughter into a hammock will be very uncomfortable at best. The eno double nest say's it's for two people, but having two people in a hammock as they both end up flopping towards each other is very difficult. If your daughter is very young, you could set her up in her own small hammock next to your wife with a spacer or perhaps tiered a bit.

She is three and lucky if she weighs 20 pounds. ATM they share a mummy bag to increase heat for the young un so the hammock will not be much different. Thanks for the heads up though. I guess we really will not know until we try one. Oh and thanks for the warm wishes. I go way back in forum use and this has had one of the most welcoming starts.

Hey there and welcome to the trees. You won't regret the decision to leave the ground.

Welcome from a Buckeye! Wish I would've checked out Hammock Forums before I had a rig, would've saved me some cash.

Welcome from Lawrenceville, GA. I'm a Scoutmaster for our troop and my son is an Eagle with two more years to go in Scouting. We've been hammocking for about a year and a half now and we love it. Many of our scouts are hammocking as well. Every chance I get I encourage hammocking - even to the adult leaders. They all give the same excuses I used to give and then I tried it. I can't imagine ever sleeping in a tent again!
