Hey Guys,
Got a small tear in my Warbonnet Big Mamajamba tarp during some wonderful 40mph winds a few month ago. I was wondering if anyone can recommend good sil-nylon to patch with that will match and which silicon you guys use. I woould prefer to source all of this from one location. Links are appreciated. Also, do I use the same silicon that I patch with to seem seal? Thanks in advance.
Contact Warbonnet and get the matching silnylon from him as well as his recommendation for patching.
+1 I'm sure Warbonnet will send you some scrap material to patch with.
For adhering the patch seam sealer might work.
In the past I've used undiluted GE2 Silicone from Lowes/Home depot successfully. Just put a small blob on the patch material, place it, then use a credit card to wet it out and wipe up the excess.
