To me the weave seems very tight.
Yeah, it's a very tight weave. Quite stiff.

We sell black 1-inch polyester webbing, 1,500 lb. break strength for 20 cents a foot (priced 60 cents per yard). That's not as cheap as 19.2 cents for the closeout 50 yard bulk, but it's cheaper than all the other categories.
I just found this thread. It's been a couple of months... Have any of you experienced fray issues with these straps?
Are any of you willing to take a close up shot of the strap's edge? That's where nicks will likely occur.
I'm trying to find out who manufacturers the strapping Warbonnet uses. It's the best I've seen so far... Lite and nick/fray resistant.
