I don't see anything wrong with it..then again I never made one

Ewker - there was an overhand knot in the adjustable loop.

Glad I'm not the only one to do this!
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

I misread the photo also.
But, does anyone find incorrect my assertion that the overhand knot in the loop has minimal or no impact on the final breaking strength of the whoopie sling? The load is shared over both legs of the loop, and the weakened leg will not be carrying more load than the single cord coming out of the bury after it exits the choke-collar. That single cord will break at around the same time as the knot will.

I would agree demostix. Seems it shouldnt really effect the overall strength enough to be the weakest link.
I kept thinking of this post the whole time I was making my first Whoopie Sling last night. I must have checked the line a dozen times to make sure I didn't have a knot in the loop.

While it's good to learn from your mistakes, it's better to learn from someone else's
The first whoopie I made, I went to cut the rope to trim the tail to size, and somehow managed to cut the loop. I wasnt paying attention obviously. Totally ruined it.
