    Size of BlackBishop bag?

I've been using the Hennessy SuperShelter double open ended stuff sack for the hammock and undercover. Too small for the Nest/WS & hammock. What size BBB have people been using to stuff a hammock, JRB WeatherShield and Nest into? Any source for double open ended chord locked silnylon bags?

If you or someone you know has a sewing machine, a little bit of material, some cordage and cord locks you can esily make one yourself. I made one out of some coated 1.9 ripstop I had on hand and needed to use. If I can make one, anyone can do it. I even made a matching stake/strap bag to go with it.

    Hey koaloha,
I start with a piece of silnylon 34"X 18" and sew a stuffsack. Then I sew a piece of grosgain on the closed end and burn a hole through with a solder iron for the hammock strap to come through. Usually put that grosgain so that when the BBB hangs then my drawcord lock is hanging closest to the ground.
With that I easily get my hammock, DIY weathershield, and 1/2 UQ in. Made a larger one for winter.
Definitely a BBB guy here! Good sewing to ya'.......

Here's a thread that will take you deeper than you ever wanted to go on the Black Bishop Bag if you pursue it to the end.

My personal bag is 1/2 way between Hooch's and Shug's. One end is a standard stuff sack, then a closed seam for about 3/4 of the length, and a smaller cord/cord lock hole on the other. A bit more complicated that these other two, but its not too difficult.

Make it a bit bigger than you actually need for the Nest, if it is big enough it also serves as a good place for your hiking boots, it the BB Sack is placed at the foot end of a Hennessy Hammock.

Make it big enough and your top quilt can fit in there too, Really easy and fast. I think the bottom is a 10"-ish circle and about 22" tall. I did more reinforcing on the webbing opening, but that is just me. I hemed 2 pieces, sewn them together leaving an 2" or so opening, then cut the circle out of that. A little stronger and won't have to worry about the fabric ripping.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?

Thanks for all the input and links.
    Like your design Hooch.
Will try to get one of my techs who sews for a local theater group to take on a side job. Hopefully couple bags. Bag #1 a HoochStyle Bishop bag. Bag #2 a double ended compression drybag style. Basically similar to the compression silnylon bags the JRB has but double ended.
Like the concept of multiple use as a stuff sack and ridgeline storage bag Bishop style allows. Something not really possible with skins.
