Yes the Toxoway has a 12' ridge line and a HEX style cut, The Shangri La is an 11' ridge line and a modified tapering Hex that is narrower at one end. It's a great compact tarp that maximizes coverage at one end....often you would use that as your head end to cover gear. It's great over a WWBB But the Tox will have greater coverage and is made in the tradition of the original BlackCat, similar to many other tarps that sponed from that design.

I am happy to see Paul continuing an older tradition and analysis in tarp design for hammock campers, the assymetric cut of the Shangri-La, which is saves weight and bulk at one end, the foot end of the hammock. Or to see another way, the tarp is wider at the head end than a tarp of fixed width, without additional weight.

One of Lawson's DIY cuben designs is also aysmmetric this way, and so were all of Clark's tarps in the past, some of them severely so. My feet never get wet with one. Because my feet have poor vision anyway, there's no loss of view when I bring that end of the tarp down lower, and rain drains away from the head end of the hammock where I get in and out.

I'm practically settled on getting a Toxaway, think it'll do the job for the longer SB w/ a bike stashed underneath. Only thing I'm not settled on is the color (don't want black, white is.. just okay).

Paul I found via HF search that you would consider doing different/custom colors if you had an order for 2 or more tarps in that color. So I guess I'm wondering if there are any solo custom color requests in the queue waiting for a second so you can order the sil?

Or, is there anyone else who would be interested in joining a custom color queue (per Paul's approval of course)?

I'd be happy w/ most shades of green or brown..

We are actually about to the point of needing to put an order in for sil in the next day or two. Our Stealth brown color is on the list as a probable color this time around....got one or two folks wanting to get brown. We may also be ordering some bright purple for a custom order. Get with me by PM or email if you want in on brown and we can add it as an option to the store to order it up to guarantee being on the list.

Just added it back on to the color options for all of our tarps. We will be ordering up a fresh roll pronto. But I think you knew that.

Thanks again for your help Paul. Even better was the fact that the AHE site had _every_ item on my DIY list in the color/dimensions I wanted, plus a few I had forgotten I needed (of course). So chuffed I even bought a sticker!

Looking forward to my tarp, pics etc. to follow in a few weeks..
