    Eco Hammock

Any of you have experance with the Eco hammock sold over at Ray Mear's website http://.www.raymears.com/Bushcraft_Product/268-Eco-Hammock. I am more interested in the way the bug net is configured than anything else. Seems like it would be a simple thing the make.

I have never heard of it, but it is 33 oz. w/o the bugnet, and it is less than 9 feet long. (It is over 6 feet wide, though.) Seems a bit heavy to me...

I wonder what this "Made from a Du Pont cordura fabric - the same matrial used for parachutes" is. More specifically, how heavy it is.

With regards to the bugnet, it reminds me of this Bug bivy made by Coffee: http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...highlight=bivy

Yeah, you have to buy the Eco System Pack to get the net. But it is hard to see the net in that picture.
