The softest, silkiest fabric I've felt in a hammock is the inner layer of my Tree to Tree Trail Gear Switchback hammocks.

I'm going to revive this thread rather than start a new one. I also have found my ENO Double material softer and it seems to cradle me nicer than my Grand Trunk Kryptec camo double in Micro-Diamond Ripstop. The Grand Trunk fits me nicer though at 11' vs the shorter ENO. So I think I'm looking for an 11' double hammock in a soft weave material and camo. Any suggestions?

Dutchware Netless 11ft hammock. I believe Dutch offers a camo pattern.

You are getting a bit picky with the fabric feel, since for all the venders, there are only limited fabric offerings in camo.

I'd personally recommend a single layer Dutch Netless 11ft hammock in Hexon 2.4. super strong, and a cotton like fabric feel. Not expensive either. Like cheaper than an ENO.

Ya I like the hexon. Wish all my hammocks were hexon. I have one double layer extra wide 1.6, and one short 9' single 1.6 hexon.
    I'll probably get a single 11' 1.0hexon soon

    I'd rather be hanging.

    Argon is cotton-ey. But stretchy.

Thanks for the info and suggestion. I found the material of the ENO not only to "feel" nicer but for lack of a better explanation, it "cradles" me more and the sides seem to curve up more than on the Grand Trunk where as the material on either side of me sort of falls away. I've also noticed that the Grand Trunk is more prone to have a harder ridge feel in areas. I'm sure I'm not explaining myself correctly but I hope you get my jist. I've threaded in thin shock cord on the seams of the Grand Trunk with cord locks (my knotty mod version) to help with that material on the sides.

Thank you Brazilianguy and Jaedee for your input as well, much appreciated.

ENO makes a good product. I have a lot of money invested I ENO products.

My main issue is their hammocks are short. I like a 10 ft minimum. My second is that while the quality is acceptable, it is nothing compared to my Dutch hammock. ENOs are made offshore in a large production factory, and my Dutch is basically handmade. My Dutch hammock has no loose threads of Errors in the stitching. You can tell someone took their time in making it. You can tell the ENO was mass produced.

I agree that ENOs fabric has an OK skin feel, but it's just standard nylon taffeta. Nothing special. That's like the Walmart-grade of hammock fabrics. I think you'd find Dutch's hexon far superior.

I'd even recommend Dream Hammock, as they have some nice fabric offerings, but their turn around time right now is like 5 weeks. Dutch would get you in a hammock likely within a week or so.

I'll add another recommendation for the Hexon fabric used by Dutchware. I have friends and Family with ENO's, and myself have tried a few of the lower cost Hammocks. Then I got myself a single layer Dutch Netless in Hexon and was surprised at how nice the fabric felt. When I was ready to invest in a nice all-in-one Hammock (hammock, bug net, winter cover), one of the main reasons I chose the Dutch Chameleon over a Dream Hammock Sparrow is just how nice the Hexon feels.
