    Thermarest Prorest or Neoair

I've got two trips coming up over the next couple weeks and keep debating on which mattress to take. I don't yet have an UQ so it's gonna have to be a mattress for now. I've napped in my ENO DN a few times with my Protest and it felt good but haven't even tried the Neoair yet in the hammock.

The Prorest is a seasoned pad with me have used it many years now and many seasons; from 100* - 15* (in tents or cowboy style under the stars). The Neoair was a Xmas gift and is really comfy and warm but haven't used it outdoors yet. It is also a PIA to inflate compared to the Prorest self-inflating.

Have seen a couple comments in threads mentioning using the Neoair. What would be your choice between the two? Nights have been getting down into the 40's here in TX with pretty gusty winds.

If your Neo is as crinkly sounding as the one I just tested in the store, it would drive me nuts. I use either my prolite or big agnes aircore pad in my hammock successfully. YMMV

Thanks guys. Will be packing old faithful this time. Maybe Santa will bring me a nice UQ before cold season hits next season and it'll be a mute point from then on!
