Yes, here in Latvia are many places have related to WW2 history, if You exclusively interested in history.

I'm thinking about possible summer hang because I do not have experience in the winter camping.

That's the same case with me, I can't afford to get across the pond to get to those hangouts, luckily one planned hangout are reachable for me, it's a SKAHO.
