Guy lines, keep em attached or not?

Just back from a rainy overnight trip. Had a great time and got to test my gear in the rain. I am using my new Kelty Noah 12 tarp and really liked the amount of coverage it gave me.

When setting my tarp up the lines were not attached and this caused delay setting up. In the inclement weather this was of some concern. I decided I would keep them attached for next time.

Then it came time to take the tarp down. The attached guy lines were in the way and made it more difficult to stuff the tarp into it's bag. Being wet it did not help.

So now I am left with a question. Do most of you leave your guy lines attached or do you keep them separate?

I never take mine off. I keep my tarps in skins and just do a figure 8 wrap for the guylines or just bunch em up and slide the skins on when I'm feeling lazy.

attached and figure -8 wrap before folding and stowing. It certainly makes setup faster.

I roll them up individually and roll them up with the tarp. No need to take them off.

I leave 'em on. I 'frap' them when taking the tarp down. See how the Jacks (Jacks 'r' Better) wrap their STLs to see what frapping is. Very similar to a figure 8.

I also leave mine on. I just finished switching my guy lines to lash-it whoopie slings so it should be easier and faster to set up as well as adjust from under the tarp....something to think about.

I have a Noah kelly 12 too and love it! I decided to leave mine on and wrap each individually with a rubberband to keep them neat. It seems to have worked well so far.
