My son bought one tonight at Walmart. It comes with straps and some "buckles". We are going to hang it tomorrow. I have to say it is a lot wider than my ENO Single. My son is excited about it. He wanted to hang it tonight but its midnight and its been a stressful day and we are tired. He will take pictures and we will make a vid and throw it on youtube later.

ya'll be sure to check the knots on those hammocks, especially where it is gathered at the ends. mine let go and i was hurt pretty badly. ok now though, a few minor scars.
i knew they needed attention but for some reason i did not retie them.
    lesson learned, self trust-
that is why i call mine EE(evil empire='s walmart) Blue Widow(maker) Traveler
i really like this hammock, it is the only one i have used, so i fortunately have nothing to compare it to.
diy bug net soon soon to come.

Scott's DIY Gear is a great source of materials as well.

Well my son and I went to my dads for fathers day and tried the hammock out. Here is the link to it on the Walmart website:
    http://www.walmart.com/ip/Equip-Travel-Hammock/20434439

It actually hangs pretty nice and he can lay in that hammock and sleep with no problem at all. I tried it too and liked it. For the price its not bad at all. The only thing I didnt like was the material. It's not like my ENO, its a rougher material but it seems like it would do well enough on the trails. He's going to use my slap straps instead of the 5MM para that came with it. I'll use the para instead. I also ordered my amsteel today from a local marine store. I was suprised to find someone local to be honest. Anyway I uploaded the video of the hammock on youtube yesterday. If your interested take a look.

Picked one up as an inexpensive and less labor intensive than my DIY's to allow others the opportunity to try overnight if desired. I'm also considering it as in inside hanger (don't need the bug net, it doesn't stop the kids anyway).

I really don't like the suspension whatsoever. It's heavy, cumbersome, limited and stretches about a mile. I added a fixed ridgeline and will be putting Amsteel Whoopies on this rig ASAP, but overall not bad at all for a $25 shot. Heavier material that I'd prefer for packing, but great for car camping or around the house.

If anyone does use the included suspension, please heed prior advise and retie. Their knot ability needs some work.

Eno slap straps and 550 para cord are made from nylon and will stretch and you will find yourself on the ground. Get some straps made from polyester as they do not stretch.

Experienced my first hang this past Friday night! I've been researching hammocks for quite some time (THANKS A TON, SHUG!!) My wife was in Wal-Mart last week and texted a pic to me of the Equip. We got two for an initial test before we by/make 3 more for the whole family. I slept very well. In fact, according to my wife, I slept through my son's bloody murder scream in his sleep (in Yukon) and the "So you think you can howl" match going on between the coyotes and dogs in the area. I'm pretty sure that a longer hammock would suite me better (I'm 6'1"), but for someone who just wants to have a backup hammock, gear hammock, or wants to buy two and sew them together to make a full length UQ, I'd say go for it. Here's a pic of the maiden hang, while on a trip to pic up my oldest son from summer camp.
