I picked up a couple of the fishing net ones today as well. They were discounted from 9.96 to 7.00 . My daughter can share these with her friends when they are over.

I also had no problem getting it back into it's attached stuff sack. Here is how it weighed up with everything back in the bag.

Also, one last thing...lol I kept smelling a light chemical like odor. I thought perhaps one of my neighbors was spraying for insects. While putting the hammock back into its pouch I discovered the source of the odor. The hammock does have a slight "chemical" smell. Nothing major, just there.

I hate that a lot of basic hammocks come with rope suspension. I just hope that people keep them out of the parks. I want to be able to hang my hammock without rangers telling me to take it down... Ah well, at least most HF'ers know better.

The suspension has been the first thing the I have started replacing on my hammocks. I'm doing a set of DIY tree straps for my Hammock Bliss that I received yesterday and swapped out the rope suspension on my Grand Trunks right after joining the forum.

The one I purchased today is not satiny. Blue was the only color my store had.

Interesting. Thank you! I'm trying to get a friend into hanging and he is on a severe budget!

I am a total NOOB, but I did enjoy the time I spent in it this afternoon. I think my eyes even closed for a little while.
