Hello everyone,
I am a 17 year old boy, that live in the heart of a busy city in the UK. I have been camping nearly all my life, because fortunately as a young boy my mum dragged me along to many long summer camping trips, that have left me with a passion for woods and a love for nature. I fist started to get into survival and bushcraft camping about a year ago now and since then I have been dedicated to mater every skill I need in the good out doors. Around about nine months ago for my last birthday my mum got me an army gore-tex style bivi bag and DD tarp. After using that set up for a while I was convinced by a mate to look up light wight camping hammock and I have been hooked ever since. Recently I was doing some research on pod system set ups and I stumbled upon shug. Over the last couple weeks I have been watching some of his videos and finding out a lot about what makes our lovely hammocks that much more comfortable and convenient. Now I'm a member of this forum, I hope I will be able to grow my knowledge and get my questions answers by the people that know.
I'll definitely be asking some questions at some point soon so I look forward to chatting to you all again then.
Below is a link to DD hammocks which from what I have gather is not that known outside of the uk (pleas correct me if I am wrong). I just wanted people to maybe give me there thoughts on the sort of equipment I use.
