You guys are braver than me. No way I'm trying a trip over Mother's Day weekend without my wife and as most of you know, if it's not a 4+ Star hotel she's not going and if I did, I'd have my own "Honey Badger" to worry about. I vote for a plan B.

I agree with Tarp, Mother's Day is out for me. She would turn that into "Throw dad's stuff out of the house day". I vote for plan B, but I'm out the next weekend as well. My niece is getting married in Savannah, GA on the 19th.

I drove out to Cedar Lake on the way home for the Ozark Hang. The new facilities are nice, but around the facilities is all slab padded sites with water/electric. I saw a couple of group tent sites that were full when I drove by and a ton of horse sites. 2-3 camping areas were closed for some reason.
Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or play with it, just pee on it and walk away.

I thought you knew this. Plan "B" is any weekend the Sisters and I are available. How about the 5th or the 26th? Anyone, anyone?

There is one down by the main day use area that is water only that isn't a concrete sprawl. My current plan/schedule has me in the Carolinas for the second half of May but that is subject to change.

I backed out on the Buffalo River hang because of poor weather and limited water but I'm definitely up for any other weekend in May as the wifey might do some pinking shears alterations to the hammock if I missed "HER" weekend.

Kat and I are good for the proposed weekend of May 11th through 13th. No MD restrictions for us.
