    Exclamation Guide gear 12x12 Tarp

does ANYONE have a guide gear 12x12 tarp, the kind that sportsmans guide use to sell? i just found in this morning, and have many drooling over it ever since. the only problem is... no one carries it anymore. im sure someone out here has upgraded and wants to get rid of that 2 lbs of tarp. Thanks!

If you can't find one, a Chinook 12 x 14 is a great substitute - comparable price and more readily available.

Plenty of tie outs on the GG 12X12 but oddly enough no center tie outs to make it pitch squarely. Lots have added webbing loops though.

Be advised, the current shipment is arriving and the dimmensions aren't lenghth x width but rather a diagonal measurement. Still, what they're selling as a 12 x 12' will provide good coverage in a diagonal pitch.

Here's the current thread discussing it: http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=49005

My understanding is that what is being sold as a 16'x16' is actually an 11.5' x 11.5' so that may meet your needs (I ordered the 12x12 thinking it would come out as that size, but apparently they're only 8.5'x8.5' or something like that).

Fur as I know the Guide Gear 12 x 12 (which is now marketed as the Guide Gear 16 x 16) is 1.7 ripstop nylon.

I had the 12 x 12 in my hands today and it felt like 1.7 ripstop nylon. Then I shipped it back to exchange for the 16 x 16.
