The only time you should measure something corner to corner is to confirm it is square or not. I haven't heard of anything else being measured corner to corner. They certainly don't do it to measure square footage, tent space, building height, wallyworld tarps, storage bins, etc... I really can't think of any real world measurement that uses distance between opposing corners to measure size.

All I wanted was them to email me my return shipping slip so I could print it off, send these darn things back and get the 2 correct 12 x 12 that I wanted and ordered in the first place and that many of us wait on yearly to try to get our hands on. Seems simple enough. Doesn't it?

For the first wave, I'm not sure that I blame them, but their supplier. They don't seem to be giving people any trouble with returns.

However, the fact that they're still selling them on both sites with the same copy, though they know the sizes are wrong is troubling.

I emailed them with my concern and this was what they sent back to me.

Have you gotten yours yet and is it the "real" 12 x 12? If not, please let us know when you get it, and if it is the actual 12 x 12 or the 8.5 x 8.5. This will really help the rest of out if they correct what's in the boxes.

Still if they aren't going to change the tarps in the boxes then they need to change the site to specify that it is a 12' diamond and that it is not seam taped.

ok so I spoke with them and they are fully aware of their mistake. The only thing they offered me was to take the tarp back and do an upgrade to the 11.5 x 11.5 aka 16 x 16. The difference will the the $10 but I will not have to pay shipping.

Customer service rep told me today that they do not have 12 x 12 at all.
