    ObusForme Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad

    looks softer than a thermerest, could a be good under pad .... please advise.

    The advantage of the thermarest pads is that they pack a lot smaller and they weigh less.

    yes i agree, i like my thermarest.

    but the ObusForme looks softer and more forming, the ObusForme weight and bulk is none issue for me.

    Only 20" wide? Not big enough for much of anything IMO.

    Fellow hangers often complain that those aren't wide enough either (unless your small framed). You'd want extra wide or make an SPE (segmented pad extender) with closed cell pad.

    I can freaky only use a 25 in pad, considering a 20 only reaches my armpits .
