Had a couple of nets at the bottom of our fold up chairs that we always throw in the car,,for holding items,,they are made of netting out of nylon,,about 11 x 8 inches,,so I used scissors and cut them off the chairs as we never used them other than maybe putting pack of cigs and lighter in,,and tied to RL and they work perfect,,even cut zipper off so they weigh nothing.

    Yet another option

From REI, Schwag Pockets. It is possible to remove the stiffener and insert a drawcord if one wishes.

But, if she keeps making me use the redge line I like this because then i could just move the bags clear down past my feet or past my head and they will be totally out of my way and I won't hit my head on it during the night. I just wish she'd sew more pockets or bag things along the side of my hammock, but I like this idea.
Ok Gutter, I "get it". I'll do this or something different with your ridge line organizer. This would be a simple idea, and I do like it. Nice of you to point it out to me on the web. You don't need the sorting space that your grandma and I do....you know, all of our "old people medications" and such You still have to have your ridge line! It holds your bug net up in warmer weather and your sock up in colder weather. Don't push it!

not your fault at all. I'm just wondering how wise it was of me to let a 14 year old "Gutter" loose on what feels like my turf, so to speak. He has always unhooked his organizer and put it down on the ground under his hammock, so you gave me a simple solution to get his socks and sleep clothes up off the ground.

As soon as the mosquitoes come out, I'd take the young whipper-snapper's ridge line away for a month and see how he likes the net on his face.

Welcome to HF Gutter. Learn to sew and you can make a peak bag.

This is the hammock peoples turf. It is also supposed to be a family friendly, positive site. I'm glad my set up will be changed.

I love it. Double duty. Simple. Cheap.

    Fits all the priorities.
