    First outing in Recycled Tent

Well I had my first night out in my recycled tent hammock. It worked great. I had a down underquilt that I found for $3 at the local resale store (same place I got the tent) and used the tarp that I made from the bottom of the tent. It got much colder that the weather had originally called for (big surprise there). It was suppose to be in the mid 30's but it got down to 23º. Despite that, I was fairly warm and comfortable with just a makeshift over quilt. Of course I had two dogs with me who also added a lot of warmth. Like a dope, I forgot the camera so I will have to add a picture after I head out this weekend.
