Two birds in the nest now

Just ordered my next WBBB. I'm 186lbs, 6'0'' and could use either the 1.1 or the 1.7.
I decided to get the 1.1, already having the 1.7 to shave off a few ounces and reduce the size of the overall package just a little. I topped it off with a MJ tarp as opposed to my already awesome SF.
This will be my warm weather rig and lightweight backpacking set up. This also gives me a spare for friends who want to come along or try it out.

After ten years of hanging and trying a few different models and manufacturers, the WB gets my vote as the one that has the best balance of what I want in a hammock.

My wife can keep the Clark

After my wife tried out my dbl 1.7, she insisted on having her own WBBB. I bought her a Lefty 1.1 and she really likes it. We went mirror image so we could set them up facing each other. Hope you like yours as much.

My wife, although she likes the WBBB is very partial to the Clark, where she likes the "hugginess" (a word of her own creation) of it. My son also prefers the Clark over the bird.

Speaking for myself, I have done two 10 day trips in the Clark as well as quite a few 1-3 day trips and find that the NX-200 squeezes the shoulders on me. I didn't expect that on a bigger hammock of theirs. My HH Explorer was a lot easier on the shoulders and the WBBB seems even wider than that to me. The 1.7 is my "go to" hammock now and the first one pulled off the shelves. It would just seem natural to get a slightly lighter one and lighten up the tarp a little too. I did get the DL in both for skeeter protection and because I'm primarily a pad user.

Now I have to look at accesories and have my wife sew up some kind of sliding pouch with pockets to hang off of the ridge line in fabric so it will get stuffed with the hammock as one unit.

    Roosting in a WB

Use a 1.1 Traveler or 1.1sl BlackBird. Functional, durable and most important I sleep in comfort. No reason to try any other hammock.

    Well....I have five now. LOL

Each with it's own purpose (at least that's how I justify it)

I already had a pr of these so I just hang one from the RL. It packs with the WBBB fine.
