I think iŽll buy a new stove for this hang and test it out.

    leaning towards a Primus Omnifuel!

And for the rest of the gear, iŽll check the weather forecast on
thursday evening/friday morning and pack accordingly

Does not seem like iŽll be hanging in the Ergo since i dont have it yet.
So iŽll have to make due with my DD Frontline and a exped airmat i guess.

    RE: EXPED Ergo
Did you read my quick review of the ergo in another thread ?
How tall are you compared to me ?
I kind of claim that the ergo is to small if you over 170cm !
If you need/want i can always pick it up at the addnature store if it comes to that !
But, maybe you want to check mine before getting one ?

    RE: Omnifuel
It's a great stove in every aspect.
But personally i think it's to heavy, 500gr without fuel
So, i bought a MSR Simmerlite, that you can strip down to 240 gr.
I would love a even lighter one
I can't really understand why it's no demand for a really light petrol stove ?

I like petrol (whitegas) b/c it's very effectiv and light.

LPG has higher energy content per kg, so you can get along in about 4/5 of what you have got to have if you use gasoline or kerosene. Remember that the density of gasoline and kerosene are not at 1 kg / L, approximately 0.8 kg / L. Do you use alcohol, you must expect to take on nearly double that of gasoline / kerosene
LPG is great, except it works poorly in cold weather and those containers are even heavy when empty

Omni fuel is built like a russian tank and can take alot of different fuels, but do you really need that ?
I have never ever used anything else than whitegas, (high energy with a very clean burn).
Simmerlite is slimmer and only takes white gas.

I happend to have both, so i could bring them and you can make up your mind after that ?
You have to carry them though, Cause i'm gonna use my Svea123

I just saw this post. I did get two hammocks (DD frontline and camper), made some whoopies, and got some webbing for tree straps... AND I live in Tyresö!

The problem, yes there is a problem, I have nothing else at this time I still need a tarp, sleeping bag (used as a top quilt of course) and some sort of bottom insulation.

Maybe I can meet up with you guys and see your ergos, get some help setting mine up, try it out, pack mine back up, and then walk back to my car with my tail between my legs. I would love to meet you guys at the least.

    Hehe, great !
I could lend you a tarp and a crappy UQ reinforced by a Ix UQ (the Ix alone is almost enough).

Thanks for the offer Moski!! I didn't exactly tell the whole story. I was afraid of looking like a real whiner....truth is out now. We are actually traveling from Saturday to Saturday. I don't have time. However, when you all decide on a spot I would like to try and come meet and greet and practice.

I would love to talk about some quilt options and such.

I also need to make some sort of stand. My son and I will be using the hammocks in our yard (I think you call it a garden) when we are having family and friends stay with us this summer.

Lots to do, but exciting stuff.

Yeah hi Angus, would be great if you can tag along for the day atleast

Me and Moski havent really set any specific times or locations yet but im
planning on arriving at Handen around 11:00 - 12:00 if it works with
    mr.Moski? :P

And im presuming that we will use Tyresta By as our starting point for
the hike? so maybe we can all meet up there and discuss further on
where we are heading for some testing and so forth?

Let me know if you have other suggestions on when/where to meet up!
