Hi guys
I'm just about to start creating my final UQ designs form my new project but at this moment in time I'm not that sure what baffle pattern to use.
Just wondering if somebody could help by giving me their ideas on the pros an cons of parallel baffles and karo step baffles.

I would go with parallel baffles running the same direction as the hammock for an under quilt. IMO, Karo quilts are better suited for top quilts.
You'll find many examples of DIY under quilts here in the forums.

ye thats what I was originally going to do just to simplify the project a bit.

I've had my Karo Step under quilt to -26 C. I agree that there is a chance of feathers shifting, but that's also the advantage. Stuff it nice and plump, and they are relatively easy to build and fill.
