I also plan to spend my future nights in my hammock when going on (motor)biking tours. I hope I can keep my pride and stay out of that tent

It is easy to stay out of a tent if you leave it at home.

I do a lot of motocamping but haven't tried the stealth camping yet. Just can't bring myself to set up someplace that I don't have permission to set up.

There are some places in this country where you stealth camp or go with out sleep.
