Posting pictures?????

I need some help on posting pics on the forum. I have pics of some trips and DIY stuff on my phone that i would like to post on threads as question answers and to put on my albums. Problem is that I have no clue how to do this. I know, I know I'm behind the times lol. Can anyone or is anyone willing to walk me through this???...

you need to load the pics onto your computer, either downloading them through a cable or sending the picture to your email account and download from there

then when you want to put them on the forums you can click the little icon that looks like a "mountain" in the advanced reply area for a particular thread and enter a url or click on the "paperclip" that is almost right above it and load them that way by choosing the file the pictures are located in

also if you put the pics in an album on HF and use that url it will post your pictures full size and not as a thumbnail as the "paperclip" method

Thanks, this helped a bunch. This brings up another question...I uploaded pics and put them in an album, now how do I put captions on each pic?

Just seeing this thread.

The albums are..not the best place to put pics. They are more limited in features, and don't integrate with the main gallery. That makes it far far harder to find the pictures, and browse them.

You should upload pics to the main gallery (link in upper left of the forum). That will make them more accessible. And, once they are uploaded, each one has a 'BB Code' at the bottom of its page that can be copied/pasted into your posts to make them clickable thumbnails. That's much more browser friendly.
