    Hello from Kentucky

Well, just jumped aboard the hiking trails. Actually my son just moved up to Boy Scouts and since I like to volunteer and love the outdoors here I am.
Been looking for a really good hammock for both of us (he's 10 and 80lbs.) I'm 5'6" and 190lbs.
Sorta been looking into the Hennessy Hammocks, the Scout for him and Expedition for me. Any insights on either of these or on any others? Thanks

P.S. spent my whole life outdoors and 9 yrs Army.

First off Welcome from a fellow Scouter.

Secondly you will get plenty of opinions on any hammock around here. I think that Hennessys are a great start into hammocks. They are cheaper in price than others and you get a good solid basic package. If you like them then you can think about all the other options.

Personally I love my Switchback, but it was a Hennessy that got me to this point.

THanks, well I dont know if it still is LOL I had a 96 Cherokee that I painted camo (hence the XJ for cherokee). Sold it a few years ago once the kids got into sports and I had no time for it. Kick myself in the butt sometimes for selling it but oh well.

For a while Hennessey was giving a cub with every order. Not sure if that was just a Christmas thing or what but its a good way to get two for the price of one.
