I have one of his original DB 10x5 (1.9 single) I think and it comes in at 18 oz (I weighed it some time ago) and holds up to 275lbs...I'm 6.1 and 220 and I am super comfy in it. I like it way more then my WBBB 1.1 (and so do some of other fellow hammockers who have laid in it and compared it to their WB's) to me it way more comfortable and versatile. If I was to do a thru..which I will be here soon, this is what I would take as well.

Everything about it is so versatile, and you get a lot of bang for your buck. I don't really miss the WB shelf, and if your really worried about it, have Randy make you a bigger gear organizer....that is what I did. But then again I am a UL, gram weenie, so I don't have much gear any way.
I miss my 4.8Lb base weight as a ground dweller...But I sure DON'T MISS the ground.

The Dangerbird is becoming more appealing to me by the minute. I might have to give one of these bad boys a try
