Because a Priority Mail minimum shipping and handling fee of $6.95 is a lot on say a $17 order of cord which weighs <6oz.
I so like to get my money's worth of shipping charges, I did my holiday shopping with Redden, with Grunden rain and cold gear. Additional shipping charge for the last $150 in merch declined so much compared to the charge for the first $25 I could be rich today if I could have afforded to spend $1000.
