Do you have any more pictures of your bug net? Or any details on what it is made of (e.g. tulle, noseeum, etc.)?

    Thanks!

    dp Bug Net ...

    CC,

Don't know the manufactured name of netting. Not sure there is a name other than "nylon netting".

The netting we use is the third netting we have tried. First was too porous, skeeters could get thru. Next try was too tight, not enough air circulation when weather is warm. The netting we are using is "just right" in our engineering.

We purchase the netting at a local fabric store. Lots of air circulation, skeeters crawl around on top and can't get thru.

Fun to watch the skeeters crawl around on the outside of the net as the netting is white. One trip I remember counting 20, there were more, and thinking, "This is fun being able to see them and count'em".

Also, being white, much better to illuminate your reading light when dark.

We sell "seperate" Bug Nets as we don't want to carry a sewn-on to our hammock bug net as the majority of our hanging weather there are no bugs here in Indiana. ie: we don't camp in the Summer heat.

We sell more dp Bug Nets than anything else. Very popular seller. Right now, buy one, get another 1/2 price. $7.95 S&H for both.

    d-p,

Thanks for the clarification on that. I know there are many forum members that live in areas that have noseeums and are very concerned about how small the holes are in the different bug nets, as these insects are smaller than mosquitoes.

    Noseeems ...

    CC,

The netting we have chosen to use is keeping our customers bug free.

We tested a tighter weave and found it air restricting and had a claustrophobic feeling, thus we went to a larger grid.

I'm sure you realize, creating a product for sale to the world (everyone) will satisfy 95% of the population.

I sincerely hope if you purchase a dp Bug Net, you will have bug free "happy trails".
