Russ and I are bringing a cast iron grill for whatever and especially for Sunday Morning. We are bringing pancake mix and fixin's for the group breakfast. We were inspired by Dutch Pancakes!!!

So looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow. Foot still damaged from the operation so I guess Chaaaz, Fred and I are just going to sit by the fire and drink like cosmonauts!

War stories on the agenda. "It's our last night on Parris island. I draw fire watch...." Your turn Skypainter...

Hey everyone. Looks like you were all having a Great time when my family and I swung in quickly yesterday. I am very excited that so many of you got to meet one another. And I was able to meet a few. After I left there yesterday both my wife and my oldest son were wondering when the next one was happening because they both wanted to go. Whoo buddy. So next one if it works into my schedule you guys can count in 3 more.

When I was checking out and bringing the last of the trash down I stopped to talk to the kid working about other potential sites. He gave me a location that I'll be checking out soon. Plenty of parking and about 2 miles in which is what everyone was talking about for the next group hang. Clean water available and plenty of space to camp. I'll post more info once I get a chance to check it out.

Had a great time. Can't wait for the next one

Thanks all, we had yet another great time! I would love to do a short hike in to the next one. Nicky would love to as well, so long as it isn't too rough-she has bursitis in her hip. We had a great time. Was great seeing old friends, and meeting new ones!

Next meet, let's put some workshops together. As we will, hopefully, be hiking in, maybe we can do some outdoors related ones-plant identification, fire starting,v emergency shelter building,b etc.

It got that low?? I was a little chilly, but I only had a 45° bag. If it got that low, I am impressed with the mat I used, and my bag! I don't think it did though, as there wasn't any frost.

That's a good point. That's what I was told it got to. Didn't see it for myself. I was hoping someone had checked.

I was a little chilly at first and I had a 35 deg crows nest. But that is most likely it not being hung correctly.
