Ok I picked up Strapworks Simple Straps. I got a pair of 12'ers and a pair of 2'ers. Now I just need to get a couple biners and 4 decending rings and I should be all set.

Here's one way of doing it. You can also attach the rope going through the end of the hammock directly to the cinch buckle or rings. Personally I prefer the cinch buckles as I believe they are more secure. Notice that in Neo's pic he's tied a backup knot on his rings. I can only assume he does that because he's afraid they might slip. No need to do that with the buckles....once they are set they are set. I've tried both...the rings have slipped....the buckles have not. Either will work.

Great advise about using cinch buckles. I love them. I've used rings in the past but use the cinch buckles now for the reason Miguel just stated.
