    Toggle's

I found my self needing another set of toggle's for my 1" tree straps. While looking around my shop I found an old aluminum arrow shaft that was camo colored I quickly cut two toggles and sanded down the ruff edges and "viola" toggles. They weigh in at 4 grams for the set

I'm sure this has been done before but got me wondering what kinds of things do you use for toggle's? besides sticks

Just made some with carbon fiber arrow shafts. Weigh about nothing.

    Snrmoment,

What did you use to cut your carbon fiber shafts? I tried once and the tiny carbon fiber splinters scared me into giving up.

I use knitting needles. I get the largest ones at WalMart. Cut to length with hacksaw, file smooth. Then, near the end I drill a through hole and tie to to the loop on one end of my webbing. They weight nothing and work great.

Arrow Shafts, Hardwood Dowel, Aluminum tent pole repair sleeves, anything light and relatively strong. Or you can use sticks...

Cut them with a hacksaw that has a good blade. Go slow. Some splinter, some don't.
