hmmm... tie the bottom tapes in a simple bow.... This guy has obviously never hiked with me. I can't even keep a shoe lace tied tight... for some reason or other the left shoe always comes untied unless I double knot it. I wouldn't trust my bow tying skills with my body for nothing.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Yeah, I was going to say something about his method of attaching, but if it works for him......

Don't think I'd tie a shoelace knot, either. It just doesn't seem right, or secure. But it is slippery.

I was a bit unsure about that method as well but it's worked every time I've tried it. The cord is heavy, looks like it will suck up water but I haven't gotten around to changing it yet.

As good as those loops may look, I would suggest adding your own stitching before putting them under stress. I have one loop in front of me as I type that I thought was going to be fine compared to the other (more obviously badly sewn) ones.

    Enjoy them.
I'm looking forward to seeing what the HF crowd come up with Re mods etc.

I forgot to give an update.
2 hammocks got taken to the post office Sunday night and 4 more packages went out today. I should have the rest sent out by tomorrow.

Please chime in and let me know when you get your hammock.

Don't thank me yet. You still gotta get your hammocks in your hands

In all seriousness, I think everyone is going to be really happy with their hammocks. I know I am.

I plan to use the DD as my go to hammock for the near future to give it a full work out. My primary shelter is the HH and this hammock will be a nice change from the bottom loader.

I didnt even know I needed another hammock until the group buy.LOL
