    Just happened to me also.

My bad, I guess, but I can't see ANY good business reason for making the carabiners an opt-in component (opt-out, possibly, but not opt-in) since they are a recommended / illustrated component of the setup. Come on, man!!!

Leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

MANY thanks to Law Dawg and gmctrr for the suggestion of using a stick through a fold in the webbing. Got a preliminary hang in both the XLC and RR because of it. Blood pressure down as a result of the instant comfort in the RR. The XLC didn't help any, but may just require a bit of tinkering to figure out how to use all that fabric.

Going for a test overnighter in the back yard with the RR and some reflectix between the sheets.

Honestly, this is just your perspective. Personally, I specifically wouldn't want them to come as an option I had to deal with. It'd also show as $10 for an order, which I'm sure Brandon wants to avoid on something that not everyone needs.

For every person that accidentally forgets them (super bummer that you did, although biners are easy to find at many outdoor stores), there would be just as many - or more - that already had something, but forgot to "opt-out" and would end up with them when they didn't want them. As a newer user, I very much understand where you're coming from, but many, many users don't want the biners - because they already have some, use different suspension, use dutch clips, etc.
