Went fishing the other day, I now pack a lunch and me hammock instead of a chair, easier to set up, especially where I fish. Colors blended in so well a boat zoomed right past me, didn't even see me. I prefer river fishing over lakes now, dunno why... Anyways, it's a stock ENO DN w/bugnet, avoiding the DIY bug cause I'll go broke.
People on the river always happy to give... CCR

This was a place I stayed a few weeks ago, it was on the side of a mountain and it was only good for hammocks. The only problem was the wind so I had to do porch mode away from the view to help protect me. I will be going back when the weather is good so I can enjoy the views more.
Bubba, Did you get you stuff back?

Here is a spot that I hung, and there is no way you could put a tent there!
The tenters could not set up near the river because it was lined with cobblestone.
Middle Fork Salmon River
We are now ready to start our way down the Great Unknown. We are three quarters of a mile in the depth of the earth. We have an unknown distance yet to run, an unknow river yet to explore. What falls there are, we know not; what rocks beset the channel, we know not; what walls rise over the river, we know not. Ah, well! We may conjecture many things. The men talk as cheerfully as ever; jests are bandied about freely this morning; but to me the cheer is somber and the jests are ghastly. Powell 1869
Thanks everyone. Love seeing where people set up when not limited by the ground conditions.
