    I have been taking guided trips on the Manistee for 21 years guys. I love the area. It is really different to see it from the NCT than from the river, pretty both ways but different.

    I'm going to be at Nordhouse Dunes just north of luddington the 11th-13th with a few friends (ground dwellers) from Michigan. It's a great place to spend a weekend!

    I'd be in for that. Haven't been on the MRT for a few years so it would be nice to do that trail again. I'll keep an eye on this post. I'm pretty flexible so whatever dates you decide to go with are just fine for me...Bush

    Manistee River Trail. It's on the east side of the river near Mesick, MI but you can cross over and hook up with the North Country Trail for a nice ~20mi loop. Each side offers different scenery and view of the river which is really nice to keep it interesting. Here are some pics from a trip I took last week:

    thanks man those pics looked awsome if i dont make it to this hang i will deff have to hike the area some time

    I like the end of month my self so it safe to say this hike and hang will be
    May 25th 26th and 27th. 20 mile hike and hang on the MRT need to put some miles on my old legs....lol
