I have an ENO DoubleNest and am considering a whoopie sling set up to replace all the stuff at the end of the hammock. A couple of questions:
1. I saw a bunch of different webbing at REI. Is 1 inch wide (seems to be what everyone recommends) recommended to protect the tree or due to a weight rating? Can I get by with something smaller and lighter?
2. How do I attach a whoopie sling to the ENO DN? It has a sewn "track" that the stock cord is looped through with a caribiner attached to that. Do I just push the fixed loop through that "track" and feed the rest of the WS through the fixed loop or do I need to splice it directly into the track? Did that make sense (sorry, still learning the terminology)?
Thanks.
