Your English is very impressive, it is flawless compared to what many North Americans speak. Not many of us can even hobble along in a foreign language.

"To turn from this increasingly artificial and strangely alien world is to escape from unreality. To return to the timeless world of the mountains, the sea, the forest and the stars is to return to sanity and truth." --Robert Burnham Jr.
@ NCPatrick, Yakfoot : Thanks
How very Swiss.
When I was planing to get a camp-kit (tent, etc.) a year ago, I made a limit of 200e/300$.
Then I found this place and following happened:
Hammock: 170$
Tarp: 130$
Sleeping bag: 130$
Pad: 40$
UQ: 150$
Rope, biners, tensioning gadgets, etc.: 100+$
Shipping (mainly from US): 120$
Total: ±840$
I'm an idiot.
I thought this thread was about PIE!
I've been putting up with an uncomfortable pack & old gear for too long. Last fall I finally gave myself permission to buy a new pack, and maybe a new sleeping bag. Then I found Shug. He pointed me to Hammock Forums. I’ve been happily using my HH for a few years, but I had no idea how horrible my set-up was until I saw how the folks here do it.
Now I cry giddy tears of joy at what I ended up spending this winter.
Worth Every Cent!!!
Hammock: 175
