Funny reading this thread, as I was just organizing my gear room a little last night.

    9 tents
    5 hammocks
5 tarps (not including hammock tarps)
    5 stoves
    6 sleeping bags
    7 packs
    2 portage packs
    4 headlamps
    etc.

and 4 canoes and a kayak in the garage hanging up.

Another funny thing.........I find myself thinking I might need more.

I'm not to most of ya'lls level yet (my wife thinks I am) but I am trying. Just remember- the one who dies with the most gear, WINS!!!

I laughed my head off and then read this to my wife and daughter and my daughter said, "Daddy, you have way more tents, tarps, and hammocks than that!"

"Shut up," I said to my evil 10-year-old.

My wife gave me the stink-eye. Not for what I said to the kid, but for what the kid said to me...

Problem? Who's got a problem? Who started a gear business in the kitchen to have an excuse to make/buy/build more crap? Uh... Some other guy. I think it was tncamper. I've got my act together. I can quit anytime. I can shut down that workshop whenever I want to. I just don't want to.

Thanks, by the way, for the WWM order. We appreciate all you guys and your business. Makes it a lot of fun. tncamper is vacationing with kids. I'm gonna knock it out tomorrow. Hoping for a Saturday ship day.

Light weight. Low prices. Great gear.

I should say so. The first thing that jumps out at me on this list is that ALL those numbers use ONLY ONE DIGIT. Excluding the t**nts, can you equip a normal sized Boy Scout patrol? Let alone a small troop??? No. You have so far to go still, so far....

Yep, that is a stellar method to hide your addiction. You should have all your new gear sent to my place....I'll keep it for ya, safe and secure. Yea, that's it, safe and secure.

Hilarious...I would have the same problem if I wasn't in denial. I have made a promise to myself to stop buying gear and start making it. This way I acquire it slower, and therefore it won't seem as out of hand.

    Yeah, well...

I guess Thursdays work for me, too.

Might as well add me to the list.

I see your reasoning as very sound and rational. I knew I came into the right thread.
