    White Mountain Outpost Deluxe unpacking

Its 950g all together. On the website it is mentioned 3lbs under the bag. I don't know if that is the maximum weight the bag can hold, but its not the weight of the set. I let you do the conversions into lbs and oz, its complicated to deal with fractions.

I will post more pictures hanging.

Not sure if this should go to Reviews ?

    WM Outpost hanging

Second hang (first time it was too windy) of the Outpost

This is with the original suspension. I have to work on the ridge line.

I also appreciated the little custom picture Gary adds to each hammock. This one is definitively swiss.

    Hi Womble,
Thanks for posting. Sure is a nice spot you picked to hang out at.
I find that 6 paces in the ideal spacing for the OPD hammock with the supplied suspension.
    Glad you like it..
Now that you mention it, 3lbs included box and packing for shipment. However, I can say that if your going out on a 5 mile hike that 3 pounds shouldn't be too much. I hiked out 4 miles yesterday with hammock, food, survival gear, etc and set up on an OPD on a ledge overlooking the lake. Didn't really notice any weight that would slow me down. I probably could have done without the can of Beefaroni though.
