I've been tresting Dutch Quilts Hooks for my door hooks. The Aluminum Quilt hooks work very well and they give a very secure hook. But I found I liked using the ridge line hook better. The Ridge Line Hook (the one like with the V that acts like a trianglethingy) works well even with thick gloves on. I found there were several ways to hook it. Using the end hook gave a secure hook to close the doors, while using the V it worked well to use on the door I wanted to open and close. The tarp has been up in the past two days while I've been sick (stupid virus) and its been through a small storm and pretty windy days and all has held together just fine.
Or to itself:
My only concern is how well the plastic V will hold up over a long time as it gets flexed under stress. It wasn't meant for this, but it sure does a great job. Sure beats s-hooks.
