OMW w/ a center pole

awhile back i had Marty make a custom Oldman Winter tarp for me.
i had WL make it half green and half brown and while "the princess of the injector" was working on the Oldman i had her sew in a couple of pole pockets, at the center pull outs.

well, i recently acquired an aluminum pole for it so i strung it up today after work and WOW, i'm am a Happy Hanger!

the addition of the center pole adds a lot more room and gives a few more set up options. i think i could live under there.

i'm gonna try it out tonight!

I've been sewing pole pockets on my tarps too. It rocks when you un-hook the front stake tie outs and just let it pop up like a hatch! Give that a try tonight!

thanks! i really like it. i don't know the weight, i don't own a scale yet. i'll have to put my entire tarp set up, stakes tensioners and all, in a bag and go by the post office. i'll let you know first of the week.

hey Deb, i let one side pop up like a "hang glider" while i was setting up. it is pretty cool. it was a little windy so i staked it down. we have some weather
coming tonight so it will be a fair test. i wonder if rain sounds louder on a tighter tarp?
