    Help - need carabiners

Not having a local sporting goods store , I am needing a pair of carabiners to hang my new WBBB. I ordered a pair from Warbonnet Outdoors last week and haven't heARD anything.
Anyone have a decent pair they will let go cheap? I am itching to try this baby out.

You have the hammock and haven't tried it? You don't need the carabiners to hang it.

Just put the strap around the tree, put the tail thru the eye and hook your hammock to it, no hardware required. Takes a sec. but its weightless.
    Good luck,

This might work. These are climbing rated, which is what you need. I have never seen a company deliver as fast as Zappos. If you order today, you will probably have them Monday. http://www.zappos.com/mammut-classic-wire-gate

Go to a hardware store and get a couple of 1,000# rated chain link connectors that have a nut that opens and closes them. About $2.00 each.

I've had those beasties deform on me. I don't recommend them. If you are anal about maintaining a 30* hang you might be alright. But if you string it tight even once you can easily over load them. Yeah... stringing tight raises the forces by factors that baffle the mind. In any event... HOYH.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Any arborist supply stores around you? They usually carry climbing gear. Some supply houses for electricians carry linemens gear (tree climbing stuff only for poles). I've seen them carry biners too.
