    SOLD: Monsoon Rainfly Silnylon

I'm selling this Hennessy Monsoon: $100 Shipped CONUS

The Hennessy site says it's built "for the Expedition, Ultralite Backpacker, Deep Jungle, Evader or Hyperlite. This is a modified shock corded, catenary cut, asymmetrical “hex” fly with “blast panels" attachable to each end of the fly to create a totally enclosed space that could handle almost anything."

It's only been used a handful of times, and the panels/doors are completely removable. I get full coverage in a Hennessy, Warbonnet or GT with no concerns! Great Tarp, but I just bit the bullet and picked up a spinn rainfly.

It's full of bells and whistles. It came with shock cord and normal Hennessy guy line, have mitten clips in places and toggles and rings along with hook and loop (Velcro) to attach the doors. So depending on the items you are carrying the weight can swing several ounces going light or full throttle with everything. Still then a light tarp!

120"x85". It's more evenly distributed, not as odd as the Asym flys that come stock.

On my scale the tarp is 10 oz, each door is 2.5 oz. bringing it to 15 oz.

By size and design and flexibility this seems a fine tarp / rainfly. There are reports in archives here that it is well enough made........off-shore. Sil-nylon at this weight is sil-nylon, so the weight is light as can be of sil-nylon, as is obvious from the door-less part.

The delivered price is not much more than the cost of just the crafted door- kit for a crafted hammock.

    Why is this still here?

The other end of the rainfly?

Is the door / "blast panel" at the other end of the tarp / rainfly the same size, cut, and configuration as the side shown in your pic? Hennessy likes the word "assymetric", whether it helps visualize the article or not.

Yes, DemostiX. It is the same. The two middle tie outs are just a little Asym and that is it.

Sale pending to sgeary28, I've sent you a PM with my info.
