Shipping notification for my old but new UQs! woohoo

After hearing about the new suspension and draft collars, I sent an E-mail to Adam. After an exchange of emails I had to call and talk to him. I knew that I wanted the collars but I was hesitant on changing the suspension. I liked being able to get in and slide the UQ up or down as needed. But after talking to Adam, I think I will like the idea of the new suspension. It will help with the CBS. I have found that on cold nights, usually about 3 to 4am, I would start to feel a little cold on the backside. I was going to use a piece of shock cord on the middle tie outs and to ridgeline to help hold up the middle. Hopefully, with the new suspension, I won't have to use it. Can't wait for them to get hear. I have a camp out next weekend, and will be using one of them. Forgot to mention, I sent both my Incubator and Phoenix in for the upgrades.

Thanks to Adam and Jenny, I really appreciate the upgrades.........RR

Great choice! I have the collar (but not the new suspension) on my 0 incubator. Really curious about what it will do. Hope to hear a report from you soon.

Post some pics when you get them back in. Sounds like fun!

I will. Should be able to get the pics up by next Sunday. Maybe sooner if I get time this week. Depends on when I get them and the work week.

Just got my two Incubators. He added little d-rings to the grossgrain loops along the sides. There's only 4 bungees in it now. One on each end to attach to the hammock lines and one on each end to snug up the end of the quilt. He put new tags on them too. Instead of sewn along the grossgrain, he put them about 6" down & completely sewn down.

As it turns out, I have not had time for the pics. This weekend I will take a few. Got the UQs in time for my camp out. The draft collars were smaller then I thought they would be. I am NOT complaining, I just was thinking bigger. The collars are about two inches high. Enough to stop a draft. The new suspension that is being offered works great. It was a little warm when I laid down, so I had the UQ, (Phoenix) off the the side. As the temps dropped I was able to pull the UQ back under me.

If your having any thought about getting the draft collars and suspension, it is well worth it. Give Adam and Jenny a call or drop them an e-mail.

P.S. I edited this post because I didn't actually measure the height of the draft collars and when I first looked at them, the down had not fully fluffed. With the collars it is not nessecary to tighten the end channels, or at least not much.

Here are the pics of the new draft collars. As you can see, enough loft to seal and keep out those nasty drafts. The last pic has the Incubator on the left and Phoenix on the right. I folded them over to show both ends at the same time.
